Snowe Review: The Smart Buys (and What to Skip)

Snowe’s percale is still the reason to shop here, and in October every item was 20% below list. Here is what to buy, why the towels are a gamble, and how short the return window runs.

Snowe sells direct, promising premium-store quality for less, with sheets made by an Italian textile partner alongside towels, tableware and decor. The range has thinned: comforters and pillows were missing from the catalog when we checked, and many pages carried “Selling Out Soon” tags.

What is left is still decent value at sale prices. A queen percale set lists at $269, and in October it was $215.20, with the same 20% cut applied across the site. Our advice: buy the percale in a color that ships now, check it the day it lands, and do not count on the return window. Snowe gives you 14 days from purchase, items must be unused, and $9.99 comes off any refund for the label.

01Smart buyBest for: Hot sleepers who like crisp

Percale Sheet Set

from $247 Full. A queen lists at $269; in October it was $215.20, 20% off.

A 500-thread-count long-staple percale with a 17-inch fitted pocket, and the product Snowe built its name on.

The percale set is the best seller on Snowe’s homepage, and the spec sheet explains why: 100% long-staple cotton in a 500-thread-count percale, Oeko-Tex certified, made with what Snowe calls a leading Italian textile partner. The fitted sheet is 17 inches deep, so thick mattresses are covered, and the set comes with two pillowcases in every size from full up. There is no twin.

The weakness is consistency over time. A Trustpilot reviewer who had bought Snowe percale since 2019 and recommended it to design clients said her July 2026 white pillowcases were rough rather than smooth and had a new bulky seam at the cuff. Other long-term owners on the same page still rave about sets bought years ago, so inspect a new set the day it arrives and decide quickly.

Upside

  • 500 thread count long-staple cotton for about $215 a queen on sale
  • Deep 17-inch fitted pocket
  • Four colors, most in stock

Downside

  • A 2026 buyer reports a rougher fabric and new cuff seam
  • No twin size

Specs we checked

  • Thread count 500, long-staple cotton percale
  • Fitted sheet depth 17 inches
  • Set flat, fitted, two pillowcases
  • Certification Oeko-Tex

02Good buyBest for: Linen on a moderate budget

Heritage Linen Sheet Set

from $368 Full. A queen lists at $390; in October it was $312. White and ivory were sold out.

Double-stonewashed French flax linen, woven in India, at a price well under most premium linen sets on sale.

Snowe’s current linen is made from French flax, woven in India at a mill it says has run since 1880, and double stonewashed so it arrives soft rather than stiff. The fitted sheet shares the 17-inch depth of the cotton sets. At $312 for a queen in October it costs less than many rivals charge for linen at full price.

The catches are stock and history. Essential White and Ivory were sold out in every size, leaving Stone, Olive Green and Terracotta. And the most detailed linen complaint on Trustpilot, from 2023, describes sheets thinning within two years and a reply that Snowe was moving to a new manufacturer and owners. That review predates this Heritage line, so treat it as a warning about the company’s support rather than this fabric.

Upside

  • Pre-washed twice, so soft from the first night
  • Sale price undercuts most premium linen

Downside

  • White and ivory sold out in all sizes
  • Older linen buyers reported thinning within two years

Specs we checked

  • Fabric 100% washed linen, French flax
  • Made woven in India
  • Fitted sheet depth 17 inches
  • In stock Stone, Olive Green, Terracotta

03Good buyBest for: Cool sleepers who want sheen

Sateen Sheet Set

from $247 Full. A queen lists at $269; in October it was $215.20. Some colors ship in 2-3 weeks.

The smoother, weightier alternative to the percale, at an identical price but a lower thread count.

Snowe’s sateen is 100% long-staple cotton at 400 thread count, with a weave the brand describes as weighty yet breathable and a subtle sheen. Sizing matches the percale exactly, including the 17-inch fitted pocket, and it ships in a sateen envelope so you can tell the sets apart in the closet.

There are two practical drawbacks. Essential White was out of stock in every size when we checked, and the page warned that certain colors take two to three weeks to ship, which matters given how short the return window is. Snowe also has no visible on-site reviews to judge it by, so you are buying on the spec sheet. If you like crisp and cool, the percale is the better use of the same money.

Upside

  • Same price as the percale for a smoother feel
  • Deep 17-inch fitted pocket

Downside

  • White out of stock in all sizes
  • Some colors take two to three weeks to ship

Specs we checked

  • Thread count 400, long-staple cotton sateen
  • Fitted sheet depth 17 inches
  • Set flat, fitted, two pillowcases

04Good buyBest for: A summer top layer

Softexture Blanket

from $187 Full/Queen. A king lists at $209; October prices were $149.60 and $167.20.

A washed, double-cloth cotton blanket made in Italy, light enough to sleep under alone on warm nights.

Softexture is a double-cloth blanket in long-staple cotton, milled and finished in Italy, with a 2-inch self hem and a wash that leaves it crinkled on purpose. Snowe sells it as a summer bed layer or a textured throw over a duvet, and the instructions say not to iron it, which is a relief.

The weave is lighter and looser by design, so it will not replace a winter blanket. Stock is the other issue: the Full/Queen size carried a “Selling Out Soon” tag and the white king was sold out, so this may not be around for long. We found no customer reviews of it on Snowe’s site to check durability against. At $149.60 for a full/queen in October, it is a reasonable buy if the color you want is still listed.

Upside

  • Made in Italy from long-staple cotton
  • No ironing, by design

Downside

  • Summer weight only
  • Full/Queen selling out; white king sold out

Specs we checked

  • Material 100% long-staple cotton, double cloth
  • Full/Queen size 92 x 90 inches
  • Made Italy

05Good buyBest for: A light, quick-drying robe

Honeycomb Bathrobe

$126 Any size. It was $100.80 in October; only white was in stock in every size.

A unisex waffle-weave robe made in Italy, with sizing that runs generous by Snowe’s own admission.

The Honeycomb Bathrobe is made in Italy from long-staple cotton in a waffle weave with some stretch, and it is Oeko-Tex certified. It comes in four unisex sizes, and Snowe’s size chart says to size down when in doubt: a medium is 44 inches long and aimed at people from 5 foot 9 to 6 foot 1.

Color choice is the weakness right now. Essential White was available in every size, Charcoal Grey only in extra small, and Slate Blue was sold out. That fits a pattern on Trustpilot, where a 2023 reviewer described waiting about a year for Snowe’s classic robe to come back in stock. If white suits you, $100.80 for an Italian-made robe is fair; if you want a color, do not wait on a restock.

Upside

  • Made in Italy, Oeko-Tex certified
  • Light waffle weave dries faster than terry

Downside

  • Only white available in most sizes
  • Runs large; Snowe says size down

Specs we checked

  • Material 100% long-staple cotton, honeycomb weave
  • Sizes XS to L, unisex
  • Length, medium 44 inches
  • Made Italy

Classic Bath Towel

$35 Each, any color. It was $25.20 in October.

Snowe’s air-spun cotton towel, currently sold with slight imperfections and no right of return.

The Classic towel is long-staple cotton spun with a process Snowe says traps air in each fiber, giving a light, quick-drying towel at 58 by 30 inches. It comes in five colors, all in stock in October.

We pass because of one line on the product page: “Slight imperfections, final sale.” Snowe’s 14-day return promise does not help on final-sale items, so if the flaw on your towel is not slight, you own it. The care notes add a smaller warning: acne products with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid can bleach the gray, blue and ivory colors. At $25.20 a towel these are not cheap seconds, and no on-site reviews were visible to reassure us. Buy towels where you can send them back.

Upside

  • Light, quick-drying air-spun cotton
  • All five colors in stock

Downside

  • Sold with slight imperfections as final sale
  • Colors can bleach from common skin-care ingredients

Specs we checked

  • Size 58 x 30 inches
  • Material 100% long-staple cotton
  • Status slight imperfections, final sale

Reading the one-star reviews

Snowe’s product pages carry no customer reviews, only a few quoted testimonials, so outside platforms carry more weight than usual. Trustpilot rated Snowe 3.1 out of 5, “Average”, from just 13 reviews when we read it.

The praise is almost all for the percale sheets, including owners still happy with sets bought up to nine years ago. The complaints are older but serious: orders charged and not delivered for a year, linen backordered twice, refunds that took weeks, a phone line that did not work, and chipped glassware just outside a six-month warranty with only a 15% discount offered. Two reviewers, in 2022 and 2023, suspected the company was winding down. The most recent negative, from July 2026, is about quality: white percale pillowcases that felt rough, from a customer who had bought Snowe since 2019.

Well-specified sheets at a fair sale price, dragged down by a 14-day unused-only return window, email-only support with slow replies, patchy stock and a Trustpilot history of long backorders.

Rivals worth a look

  • Brooklinen. Choose it instead if you want a longer return window and a bigger, steadier stock of colors and sizes.
  • Parachute. Choose it instead if you want linen in white and a brand with physical stores to visit.
  • Coyuchi. Choose it instead if certified organic cotton matters and you want 30 days to return washed sheets.

Things people ask

How long do I have to return Snowe sheets?

Fourteen days from purchase, not from delivery, under what Snowe calls its Snowe Promise. Its FAQ says items must be unused. Snowe emails a prepaid label and deducts $9.99 from the refund, and outbound shipping is not refunded. Anything marked final sale, including the Classic towels sold with slight imperfections, cannot go back. Gifts can be returned for store credit within 14 days of delivery.

Is Snowe always on sale?

We can only say what we saw. In October 2026 every product we checked, from sheets to cheese boards, was priced 20% below its listed price, and the menu advertised a sale section with an extra 20% or more off. New email subscribers get 10% off, and referred friends get $35 off a first order of $100 or more. Promo codes cannot be combined.

Does Snowe offer phone support?

Not that we could find. The customer service page lists email only, staffed 9am to 5pm Eastern on weekdays, and warns that replies can take five to seven business days because of high volume. Two Trustpilot reviewers said a listed phone number did not work. Given the 14-day return window, contact Snowe as soon as a problem appears.
