Terms of use
The ground rules, in plain English.
By reading this site you agree to the following, which we have tried to keep readable.
What our articles are
Opinion based on desk research of brand websites and published customer reviews, as of the month shown on each article. They are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Products change, prices change and policies change. Check the brand's own site before you buy.
Accuracy
We work hard to get facts right and fix mistakes when told. We cannot guarantee every price, specification or policy detail is current, and we are not responsible for a purchase you make from a third party.
Our content
Text and the design of this site belong to The Smart Selection. Quote a sentence or two with a link back; do not republish whole articles. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here only to identify products.
