Farfetch Spain Review 2026: Which Designer Buys Are Worth the Money
Farfetch’s Spanish storefront is a sharp buy for sneakers and a riskier one for big-ticket bags. When to shop, why the Canary Islands are a special case, and what missing Klarna instalments mean for your budget.
We earn a commission if you buy through the Farfetch Spain links on this page. It never changes a call. How that works.
- Skip the upgrade
- Skip paying for express on a single pair of sneakers. Look for the FARFETCH FIRST label first: on selected items, the next-day upgrade is free.
- Best time to buy
- When a promotion covers full-price stock. Farfetch’s promotion terms list 25% off selected Special Offer new-season items from 30 October to 11 November 2026, with a €125 minimum basket.

Spain gets the same Farfetch as the rest of the EU in most respects: euro prices with duties and taxes included for EU addresses, express delivery in two to four days, and no standard delivery charge on baskets above €300. The differences are in the details that decide whether a purchase is smart. Klarna instalments are not offered here, so you pay in full at checkout, often after a 3D Secure check from your bank. Phone support speaks Spanish only. And the Spanish terms warn that the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla can face duties on arrival.
That pushes us towards smaller, surer purchases. Sneakers bought at full price during a promotion are the smart buy here; a statement bag is better left for a sale, and swimwear is better bought in a shop.

Men’s Sneakers
Spain’s smartest Farfetch purchase: sizes spread across many boutiques, free returns at full price, and next-day delivery on selected pairs.
Sneakers suit the way Farfetch works. Stock sits with many boutiques, so a size gone everywhere else may still turn up, and a pair bought at full price in a promotion can still be sent back free within 30 days. Pairs from Common Projects, Salomon and VEJA were in the Spanish FARFETCH FIRST edit when we checked, each showing an arrival date within two days.
The complaints worth knowing come from Spanish-language Trustpilot reviews: a wrong size sent, and a shoe box that arrived badly dented with its cards missing. Both matter because Farfetch’s return rules ask for unmarked soles and an undamaged branded box, packed inside a protective box. Photograph the box as it arrives, try the pair indoors, and contact customer service before sending back anything that came damaged or wrong.
Upside
- Wide spread of sizes across boutique stock
- Selected pairs get a free next-day FARFETCH FIRST upgrade
- Full-price pairs keep the free 30-day return
Downside
- Returns need unmarked soles and an intact shoe box
- Recent reviews mention wrong sizes and dented boxes
The numbers
- Return condition unmarked soles, intact branded box
- Fast option FARFETCH FIRST on selected pairs
- Returns 30 days, free collection or drop-off

FARFETCH FIRST
A free upgrade to next-day delivery on selected items, useful when the date matters more than the choice.
FARFETCH FIRST is the service to use when an order has to land by a specific day. Farfetch describes it as a free upgrade to next-day delivery on selected items, with a one-to-two-business-day window that depends on your order time; flagged items show an estimated date before you pay. The Spanish edit we looked at leaned heavily on sneakers and jeans.
The selection is the limit: only flagged items qualify, and a basket mixing FIRST items with stock from other boutiques can still arrive in several parcels on different days. Spanish-language reviews also complain about couriers, FedEx by name more than once, so be home or pick a collection point for anything valuable. Order after the cut-off shown and you should add a day.
Upside
- Free upgrade, with no premium charged for the speed
- Estimated arrival shown on the product before you pay
Downside
- Only flagged items qualify
- Mixed baskets still split into separate deliveries
The numbers
- Speed 1 to 2 business days
- Upgrade cost free on selected items
- Late orders allow one extra day

Women’s Mini Bags
Small bags at big-house prices, paid in full upfront in Spain, which makes the timing of the purchase matter more.
Mini bags are an easy Farfetch purchase to talk yourself into: one item, no sizing, and free standard delivery whenever the price passes €300. Spain has no Klarna instalment option, though, because Farfetch’s payment page lists instalments for other European markets and not this one, so the whole amount leaves your card on the day you order. That alone argues for waiting until a promotion or the sale.
The return is the second risk. The rules want accessories returned in their original designer packaging, boxed again for protection, and nothing is refunded until the boutique has examined them. Processing can take up to six days after the boutique receives the parcel, and the money up to 14 more to appear, so a slow or rejected return ties up a large sum. Photograph everything on arrival.
Upside
- No sizing risk, and free delivery once past €300
- Branded boxes and dust bags included where supplied
Downside
- No instalments in Spain, so full payment at checkout
- Boutique inspection decides whether a return is accepted
The numbers
- Payment cards, PayPal, Apple Pay; no Klarna instalments
- Refund timing up to 6 days processing, 14 to show
- Return packing branded box inside a protective box

Men’s Sale
Markdowns from Stone Island to Zegna, worth it if you check whether each piece can come back before paying.
The men’s sale draws on a brand list that includes Stone Island, Zegna, C.P. Company, Our Legacy and Thom Browne, with reductions set boutique by boutique. Sale orders count towards the €300 free-delivery threshold in Spain, so two or three pieces can ship free.
Read the returns position carefully, because the Spanish pages do not put it in one place. The Spanish returns page does not list a final-sale exclusion, but section 17 of the Spanish terms says items in the final sale (rebajas finales) fall outside the standard returns policy and cannot be returned, with any refund at Farfetch’s discretion. Treat a final-sale tag as permanent and buy only what you know fits.
Upside
- Long list of menswear labels in the sale
- Sale orders count towards free delivery over €300
Downside
- Final-sale pieces fall outside the standard returns policy
- Reductions differ between boutiques for the same item
The numbers
- Final sale outside standard returns, terms section 17
- Free delivery threshold €300, sale orders included
- Discounts set by each boutique

Second Life
Sell an unused designer bag back for Farfetch credit, a useful offset in a market with no instalment plans.
Spain is covered by Second Life, which the service page says covers every EU country. The sequence runs: photos in, an offer back in up to three working days, a free pickup, then Farfetch credit inside ten working days of the bag being approved. Access members earn extra credit, from 5% at Bronze up to 15% at Platinum and Private Client.
In Spain this is the cleanest way to soften the cost of a bag you would otherwise pay for in one go. The limits are the same everywhere: bags only, and credit only, with no cash option. The Spanish-market version of the page is written in Spanish, so non-Spanish readers may want a translation tool open for the brand list.
Upside
- Free collection, with no fees taken from the quote
- Credit can offset a purchase Spain will not let you spread
Downside
- Credit only, usable on Farfetch alone
- Accepts bags only
The numbers
- Payout Farfetch credit within 10 working days
- Member bonus 5% to 15%
- Coverage all EU countries, Spain included

Women’s Swimwear
The section with the strictest return conditions on the site, which turns a home try-on into a gamble.
Swimwear looks like a natural Spanish purchase, but the returns policy makes it the weakest section to buy online. Swimwear and lingerie must come back with hygiene seals attached and, where applicable, in unopened and undamaged packaging, and they may only be tried on over your own underwear; anything worn or soiled is refused. The Spanish version of the policy also asks for returned items to be unwashed.
Fit varies widely between labels, so the home try-on is the step you need most and the one the rules restrict hardest. A seal removed in a moment of optimism can cost you the whole refund. If you want designer swimwear, try it on in a shop, or wait for a sale on a label whose sizing you already know.
Upside
- Wide spread of designer swimwear and beachwear labels
- Standard free returns still apply when seals stay intact
Downside
- Hygiene seals must stay attached for a return
- Try-on only over your own underwear; worn items refused
The numbers
- Return condition hygiene seals attached
- Try-on rule over your own undergarments only
- Spanish policy adds items must be unwashed

The review pile, summarized
Trustpilot’s Spanish site shows Farfetch at 4.2 out of 5 overall, but Spanish-language one- and two-star reviews bring out a pattern that matters for expensive orders. Two reviewers describe parcels marked as delivered that they say never reached them, signed for with signatures that were not theirs and no ID recorded; one says Farfetch asked for a police report and still declined the refund. Others report one item of a multi-item order missing, being told to chase UPS themselves, and couriers, FedEx in particular, handling deliveries badly. Not every reviewer is in Spain, since the language filter catches Latin American buyers too.
Farfetch answers nearly every complaint, mostly by asking for an order number. For a high-value order to Spain, choose a delivery slot you can be home for and keep screenshots of the tracking.

Things people ask
Will I pay customs on a Farfetch order to the Canary Islands?
Possibly. Farfetch’s delivery page includes duties and taxes for EU orders but names the Canary Islands as an exception, and the Spanish terms add Ceuta and Melilla to the places where duties or taxes may be due on arrival. Farfetch says checkout tells you whether duties are included or payable to the courier. Read that line before paying, and ask the local customs office if you are unsure of the amount.
Can I pay for Farfetch in instalments from Spain?
Not through Klarna. Farfetch’s payment page lists the countries where Klarna instalments are available, and Spain is not among them; Afterpay is limited to the US and Australia. Spanish buyers can use major cards, PayPal or Apple Pay, and card payments may trigger a 3D Secure check from your bank under the EU’s PSD2 rules. Spreading a cost is a matter for your own bank, not Farfetch.
Is there English-language customer service for Spain?
By email, yes; by phone, no. The Spanish contact page gives +34 518 88 06 37, staffed in Spanish from 9:00 to 18:00 CET on weekdays, and says English speakers can email and expect an answer within 24 hours. Response times stretch during sales and campaigns. Lead each message with the order reference, and if a parcel shows as delivered but has not arrived, say so in writing the same day.
Do I have the EU 14-day withdrawal right as well as Farfetch’s 30-day returns?
Farfetch’s Spanish terms describe a statutory cancellation right lasting 14 days from the day after you receive the goods, separate from the free 30-day returns service. Under that right you pay to send items back to the boutique, so the free returns route is usually cheaper. Faulty or wrong items are different: contact customer service first. This summarises the terms and is not legal advice.
How do I get into the Access private sale?
Create an account and place a first order: Farfetch’s Access page says the private members’ sale unlocks after that, alongside a welcome offer and a birthday-month discount. Tiers run from Bronze to Private Client and depend on spend over a 12-month loyalty year, with free delivery and a personal stylist among the higher-tier perks. Invitations arrive by email and in your account, so ignore coupon sites.
