Is Rogue Fitness Worth It? 2026 Review
Rogue rarely discounts, so the smart move is choosing the right tier: a lifetime-warranty Ohio Bar over the cheaper Echo Bar, free-shipping plate sets, and no $155 monitor upgrade you do not need.
We may earn a commission if you buy through our links, once we join a brand's program. It never changes a call. How that works.
- Skip the upgrade
- Skip the $155 M2 Monitor Upgrade Kit for the Echo Bike V3.0. The standard console already pairs over Bluetooth and ANT+ and runs intervals.
- Best time to buy
- Rogue’s Deals page lists Hot Deals, Closeout & Sale and Boneyard seconds such as 28MM Boneyard Bars at $195. Boneyard and closeout items are final sale.

Rogue Fitness builds much of its steel in Columbus, Ohio, outfits the CrossFit Games and sells to garage lifters at prices that rarely move. There is no sitewide sale banner on the US site this month; the savings live in shipping deals (free freight on many big items, “3 Ships Free” on smaller ones) and in a Deals section of seconds and closeouts.
That makes picking the right tier the whole game. Some step-ups are worth it: the Ohio Bar carries a lifetime warranty that the cheaper Echo Bar 2.0 does not. Others are not, like bolting a monitor upgrade onto a bike that already has Bluetooth. Buy carefully the first time, too, because Rogue only takes back unused items within 30 days, and you pay the return freight.
What to buy (and what not to)
The Ohio Bar - Black Oxide
$305 Black oxide finish. The Cerakote version lists at $365.
Rogue’s all-round 20KG bar, made in Columbus and covered for life, which is the warranty gap that makes it the smart buy.
The Ohio Bar is the bar Rogue built to do everything: squats, presses, deadlifts and the Olympic lifts. It has a 28.5MM shaft of 190,000 PSI steel, bronze bushings, dual knurl marks and no center knurl, and Rogue rates it F8-R on its own durability scale.
The value case sits on the warranty page. The Ohio Bar has a lifetime warranty, while the Echo Bar 2.0 gets one year. Black oxide is the original, grippiest finish, but Rogue itself warns it has much lower rust resistance and needs regular care, and its own review summary says some buyers saw the finish rust quickly or received a damaged bar. If your garage is damp, the $60 Cerakote step-up is the one upgrade here worth paying for.
Why it's smart
- Lifetime warranty, against one year on the Echo Bar 2.0
- Made in Columbus, Ohio, from US steel
- Knurl marks for both powerlifting and Olympic grips
The catch
- Black oxide rusts without regular brushing and oil
- Some reviewers report rust soon after delivery or shipping damage
Specs we checked
- Shaft 28.5MM, 190,000 PSI steel
- Weight 20KG
- Loadable sleeve length 16.40 inches
- Spin bronze bushings

Rogue Echo Bike V3.0
$945 Marked Free Shipping on the product page in October 2026.
A 123-pound, belt-driven fan bike that now ships with a Bluetooth and ANT+ console, so the base model is enough.
The Echo Bike is heavy on purpose. At 123 pounds of steel tubing it does not rock during sprints, and the belt-driven steel fan is smoother and quieter than chain bikes. Version 3.0 includes an LCD console with interval, target and heart-rate modes and Bluetooth and ANT+ pairing, and the seat has 11 height and five fore-aft settings.
That console is why the $155 M2 Monitor kit is easy to skip unless you want built-in programming. The real limits are on the spec sheet: a 330-pound maximum user weight, lower than the 500 pounds Rogue quotes for its Echo Rower, and a two-year warranty rather than lifetime cover. One Trustpilot reviewer whose console would not hold a charge found the fix was fresh batteries, so keep D-cells around.
Why it's smart
- Free shipping on a 123-pound machine
- Bluetooth and ANT+ console included as standard
The catch
- 330-pound user limit
- Two-year warranty, short for a Rogue steel product
Specs we checked
- Weight 123 lb
- Max user weight 330 lb
- Footprint 44.5 x 23.75 inches
- Drive belt-driven steel fan

Rogue Echo Bumper Plates V2
from $48 10LB pair. The 160LB set is $363 and the 230LB set $520, both with free shipping.
Rogue’s economy bumper, sold in pairs or sets, and the sets ship free, which is where the value is.
Rogue calls the Echo V2 a budget-friendly bumper: IWF-standard 450MM diameter, stainless steel inserts, a weight tolerance of plus or minus 1% and an 88 durometer rating, which means a dead, low bounce. The 45LB plate is 2.4 inches wide, so more fits on a bar than with older, fatter versions.
Buy a set rather than pairs. Every set is marked Free Shipping, and pairing a set of 160LB or more with a qualifying barbell also gets the bar shipped free under Rogue’s own promotion. On the downside, the plates are not made in the USA, which surprised one buyer who had assumed they were, and the same reviewer found them very slick out of the box. That matters if you also use plates for grip work or plate carries.
Why it's smart
- Sets ship free and can unlock free barbell shipping
- Low bounce and tight weight tolerance
The catch
- Not made in the USA, unlike much of Rogue’s steel
- Slick surface when new
Specs we checked
- Diameter 450MM, IWF standard
- Weight tolerance +/- 1%
- 45LB plate width 2.40 inches
- Durometer 88

RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack
$935 Free shipping. Buying it also caps shipping on the rest of a stocked-item cart at $75.
A full power rack on a self-stabilizing flat-foot base, so it needs no bolts into a rented floor.
The RML-390F is the flat-foot version of Rogue’s RML-3: 3x3-inch 11-gauge uprights on 2x3-inch bases, Westside hole spacing, 5/8-inch hardware and a 48 x 49-inch footprint with 30 inches of inside depth. Rogue says the base means you do not have to anchor it to the floor, which is the reason renters and anyone with radiant floor heat look at it.
Check two things before ordering. It stands 92.25 inches tall, which rules out many basements. And the product page says band pegs and safety spotter arms should not be used on the flat-foot rack, which narrows the accessory list. The $75 shipping cap that comes with a Monster Lite rack is the moment to buy plates, bar and bench together. A recent Trustpilot reviewer said their Rogue rack arrived scratched with sharp edges.
Why it's smart
- No floor anchoring required
- Made in Columbus with 11-gauge 3x3 steel
- Unlocks the $75 shipping cap on a whole order
The catch
- 92.25 inches tall, too high for many basements
- Band pegs and spotter arms are not to be used with it
Specs we checked
- Height 92.25 inches
- Footprint 48 x 49 inches
- Uprights 3x3-inch 11-gauge steel
- Product weight 295 lb

Rogue Adjustable Bench 3.0
$595 Standard version, black. A stainless-rail version is also offered.
A heavy, made-in-USA adjustable bench with ten back angles, priced high enough that it belongs on a Deals watch list.
Version 3.0 uses a 3x3-inch 11-gauge steel frame, ten back positions from flat to 85 degrees, three seat angles and a gap of just one inch between pads. It weighs 125 pounds, has wheels and a handle, and stores upright on its own built-in stand.
It is very good and very expensive for a bench, which is why we would watch Rogue’s Deals section before paying full price. There are practical catches too. It ships disassembled, and Rogue says you need a 3/4-inch wrench or socket and a 7/32-inch hex key that are not in the box. Rogue’s own summary of its reviews mentions a few buyers who received damaged or poorly fitting parts, and with a 30-day, unused-only return window, inspect every piece on arrival.
Why it's smart
- Ten back angles and three seat angles
- Stores upright without an add-on bracket
The catch
- Assembly tools not included
- A few reviewers report damaged or poorly fitting parts
Specs we checked
- Back positions 10, from 0 to 85 degrees
- Seat positions 0, 15, 30 degrees
- Frame 3x3-inch 11-gauge steel
- Unit weight 125 lb

Rogue Kettlebells
from $38 9LB bell. The popular 35LB (16KG) bell is $80; 53LB (24KG) is $103.
Single-cast ductile iron bells built to kilogram weights, with a flat machined base and a lifetime warranty.
Rogue casts these in one piece from ductile iron, machines the base flat and holds every bell to a 1% tolerance of its kilogram weight, which is why the 35LB bell is really 16KG. Handles get color-coded stripes and a textured powder coat, and the range runs from 9 to 203 pounds. The warranty is lifetime.
The weakness is cost per pound and the shipping on top. These are dearer than generic cast bells, and unlike the plate sets the product page does not carry a free-shipping badge, so heavy iron adds freight to the bill. One recent reviewer also found only a single weight in stock when they wanted several. Buy two or three bells at once, and only the weights you will use for a year.
Why it's smart
- Weights held to 1% of the kilogram target
- Lifetime warranty on a single-piece casting
The catch
- Expensive per pound against generic cast bells
- Not every weight is always in stock
Specs we checked
- Material single-cast ductile iron
- Range 18 weights, 9 to 203 lb
- Handle diameter 1.19 to 1.73 inches
- Warranty lifetime

What customers say
Rogue’s product pages are full of praise: the Echo Bike showed 4,830 reviews averaging 4.8 when we read it, and Rogue’s own AI summaries describe tank-like build quality. Trustpilot tells a very different story, rating Rogue Fitness 1.9 out of 5, “Poor”.
Almost none of those complaints are about how the steel performs. They are about what happens when an order goes wrong: a rack delivered with scratches and loose metal inside a crossmember, missing hardware that took repeated chasing, a freight order left in a street, an order Rogue would not cancel an hour after it was placed, and buyers asked to pay return shipping on cheap items. A shopper who saw a price rise in their cart waited two weeks to be told it was tariffs. Not everyone is unhappy; one reviewer praised quick phone help that fixed an Echo Bike console. The pattern is clear, though: inspect deliveries immediately.

- REP Fitness. Choose it instead if you want similar garage-gym gear for less and do not need made-in-Ohio steel.
- Concept2. Choose it instead if rowing or a BikeErg is your main cardio and you want the long-running standard machine.

Things people ask
Can I return Rogue equipment if I change my mind?
Only if it is unused, in new condition and in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. Customers in the contiguous US pay return shipping, and oversize or freight items carry a return freight cost. Final sale, Boneyard, closeout and made-to-order items cannot be returned at all, and shoes sent back without their box incur a $10 fee. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Is the Ohio Bar worth it over the Echo Bar 2.0?
For most people, yes. Rogue’s warranty page gives the Ohio Bar a lifetime warranty and the Echo Bar 2.0 one year. The Ohio Bar is also made in Columbus with a 190,000 PSI shaft and bronze bushings. If you only deadlift and squat lightly, a cheaper bar will do, but a barbell is a decades-long purchase and the warranty difference is large.
Does Rogue have Black Friday or holiday sales?
We did not find a sitewide sale on the US site in October 2026, and we will not guess at dates. What Rogue does show year-round is a Deals section with Hot Deals, Closeout & Sale and Boneyard seconds, plus shipping promotions. Its shipping page mentions an MBF sale period during which same-day shipping does not apply, so expect slower dispatch during big promotions.
How fast does Rogue ship?
Rogue says in-stock small parcel items ordered before 3pm Eastern ship the same day, and most freight orders ship within two to three business days. Some items carry longer listed lead times shown in the confirmation email. Orders cannot be combined or modified, and cancellation is only possible before an order reaches the Processing stage.
