Belkin Review: The Smart Buys (and What to Skip)
Belkin’s cheapest chargers are its best value, its Qi2 stands are worth buying only on sale, and its in-store screen protector is the product behind most of its angry reviews.
We may earn a commission if you buy through our links, once we join a brand's program. It never changes a call. How that works.
- Skip the upgrade
- Skip the $129.99 UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Dock. It costs $30 more than the foldable 3-in-1 for a cooling fan, and one-star reviews include a fan that stopped working.
- Best time to buy
- Before October 31 if you need two items, while buy-one-get-one-30%-off runs. Last holiday season Belkin also extended returns to 90 days for November and December orders.

Belkin is best known for the chargers and screen protectors sold next to iPhones in Apple Stores, but its own US store carries the whole range at list prices, from a $24.99 power bank to Qi2 charging docks above $120.
The value sits at the plain end. The simple power bank and the 30-watt wall charger earn some of the strongest owner ratings Belkin has, and they cost less than a case. The pricier wireless stands are good but discounted often enough that paying full price makes little sense. And the screen protector that drives Belkin’s worst reviews is the one product we would leave on the shelf.
The lineup, model by model
BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Integrated Cable
$24.99 List price on Belkin.com in October; a 20K version is also sold.
A 10,000mAh battery with its own USB-C cable attached, highly rated and cheaper than most phone cases.
The point of this one is that you cannot forget the cable: a USB-C lead is built in, with a second USB-C port for charging another device at the same time. Output tops out at 20 watts, enough to fast charge a phone, and an LED shows how much charge is left. Pass-through power means it can charge your phone while it recharges itself. Belkin backs it with two years of warranty and its $2,500 connected-equipment cover.
Owners rate it 4.7 out of 5 across 271 ratings, with only three one-star reviews. The common gripes are that it feels heavy and bulky for its capacity, the built-in cable is short, and it takes a long time to refill. One buyer found the product registration process frustrating.
The catch
- Heavy and bulky for a 10K battery
- Built-in cable is short
Why it's smart
- 4.7 stars from 271 ratings
- Built-in cable means one less thing to pack
From the product page
- Capacity 10,000mAh
- Output up to 20W
- Ports built-in USB-C cable plus 1 USB-C
- Warranty 2 years

BoostCharge 30W USB-C Wall Charger with USB-C Cable
$26.99 Includes a 3.3-foot USB-C cable; other wattages are sold on the same page.
A compact single-port 30-watt charger with a cable in the box, and one of Belkin’s best-rated products.
New phones ship without a power adapter, and this is the simple fix: a small 30-watt USB-C block with folding prongs and a 3.3-foot USB-C cable in the box. Belkin says it charges an iPhone 16 from empty to 50% in 24 minutes, and the USB-C PD certification means it works with most recent Apple, Google and Samsung phones and tablets. It also carries the $2,500 connected-equipment warranty.
Owners rate it 4.8 out of 5 across 241 ratings, although the ratings are pooled across versions and some were written by people who received it free through Influenster. The few low reviews describe a unit that died within a week, a loose fit in the wall socket, and confusion over older versions sold without a cable.
The catch
- Single port only
- Some reviews came from free review programs
Why it's smart
- 4.8 stars from 241 ratings
- Cable included, foldable prongs
From the product page
- Output 30W, one USB-C port
- Standard USB-C PD 3.1
- In the box 3.3ft USB-C cable
- Warranty 2 years

UltraCharge Retractable GaN Wall Charger 67W
$39.99 67W version, list price in October; a 45W version shares the page.
A 67-watt travel charger with a retractable USB-C cable and a second port, strong enough for a MacBook Air.
This charger folds a whole travel kit into one block: folding prongs, a retractable 3.3-foot USB-C cable, and a second USB-C port so a phone and a tablet can charge together. At up to 67 watts from a single port, Belkin says it can fast charge a MacBook Air as well as phones, earbuds and watches.
Owners rate it 4.7 out of 5 across 55 ratings. The recurring complaint is length: several say the retractable cable is shorter than they expected, so the charger can pull out of a wall socket when the phone is in use, and some end up using the second port with a longer cable instead. One owner says the cable stopped retracting after a few days.
The catch
- Retractable cable feels short in use
- One report of the retractor failing
Why it's smart
- Laptop-strength 67W from one port
- Retractable cable plus a spare port
From the product page
- Output up to 67W single port
- Ports retractable USB-C cable plus 1 USB-C
- Cable length 3.3ft

UltraCharge 3-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger with Qi2 25W
$99.99 In the buy-one-get-one-30%-off promotion until October 31.
A foldable travel charger that fast charges an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods together, at a price that often drops elsewhere.
This is Belkin’s travel-friendly 3-in-1: it folds flat, comes with a 45-watt power supply and a 5-foot cable, and charges a Qi2 25W iPhone at up to 25 watts. Belkin says that takes an iPhone from empty to 50% in 29 minutes, with passive cooling to limit heat. The watch puck and AirPods pad run at the same time.
Owners rate it 4.5 out of 5 across 202 ratings, but 14 are one-star, mostly dead or partly dead units: a phone pad that would not charge, an AirPods pad that switched off after two seconds. One reviewer says a similar version sold at Costco for about $60, which is why we would not pay the full $99.99. Older Qi2 phones charge at 15 watts, not 25.
The catch
- 14 one-star reviews, mostly failed charging pads
- Full speed only on Qi2 25W phones
Why it's smart
- Charges three Apple devices at once
- Folds flat for travel
From the product page
- Phone charging up to 25W Qi2
- In the box 45W power supply, 5ft cable
- Size 4.2 x 2.4 x 1.1 in
- Warranty 2 years

UltraCharge Pro Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10K
$89.99 List price on Belkin.com in October, with no discount showing.
A thin magnetic battery that snaps onto a phone and charges wirelessly at Qi2 speeds, at more than three times the price of the plain 10K.
The Slim 10K is the premium version of a power bank: a 16mm-thick aluminum and silicone shell that snaps onto the back of a Qi2 or MagSafe phone, wireless charging at up to 25 watts, and a 30-watt USB-C port for a second device. Belkin says it is TSA carry-on compliant and adds up to 44 hours of playback for an iPhone 17 Pro.
Owners rate it 4.6 out of 5, but from only 26 ratings. The two low reviews are worth noting: one says wireless charging stopped working after a short time, and another bought it for a trip to China because the US product images showed a CCC certification mark that the unit did not carry. Others say it gets warm and feels heavy on the phone.
The catch
- Costs $65 more than the cabled 10K
- Only 26 owner ratings so far
Why it's smart
- Wireless Qi2 charging with no cable
- USB-C port charges a second device
From the product page
- Capacity 10,000mAh
- Wireless output Qi2 up to 25W
- Wired output 30W USB-C
- Thickness 0.4in/16mm

UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 17
$39.99 Showed as out of stock on Belkin.com in October.
Belkin’s toughest-sounding screen protector, with a lifetime warranty on paper and the worst owner ratings of anything here.
On paper the UltraGlass 2 is impressive: Belkin claims up to 25 times the strength of traditional glass, drop protection up to 7.2 feet, a 9H hardness rating and a 0.29mm profile, backed by a limited lifetime warranty with hassle-free replacement.
Owners disagree. Its own reviews average 1.6 out of 5 from 47 ratings, with 37 one-star reviews describing cracks within days or weeks, often without a drop. The warranty is the second complaint: buyers who had it fitted at an Apple Store say the store would not replace it, that Belkin’s online claim process was hard to finish, and that each replacement carried a shipping charge of about $9 to $10. Belkin defines lifetime as the life of the product, not the owner.
The catch
- 1.6 stars, with frequent early cracking
- Owners report paid shipping on replacements
Why it's smart
- Lifetime replacement warranty on paper
- Thin 0.29mm glass with an alignment tray
From the product page
- Hardness 9H pencil rating
- Thickness 0.29mm
- Fits iPhone 17, iPhone 16 Pro
- Warranty limited lifetime

The review pile, summarized
Belkin’s on-site reviews are strong for basics: 4.7 for the 10K power bank and 4.8 for the 30W charger, though some ratings come from free-product programs such as Influenster. Qi2 stands score lower, with failed charging pads and spotty Samsung and Pixel compatibility in one-star reviews.
Trustpilot rated Belkin 1.2 out of 5, “Bad”, in October, and the recent reviews there are dominated by one product. Buyers of screen protectors fitted at Apple Stores describe cracks within days, stores that would not swap them, and a “lifetime” replacement that cost about $9 to $10 in shipping each time. Others describe wrong replacement items, long phone holds and support agents asking for repeated evidence.
The chargers themselves draw far fewer complaints than the warranty process does.

Things people ask
Is Belkin’s lifetime screen protector warranty really free?
Not entirely, according to recent buyers. Belkin’s warranty promises replacement, but many Trustpilot reviewers say each replacement came with a shipping charge of about $9 to $10, that Apple Stores would not swap a cracked protector, and that claims had to go through Belkin’s website. Belkin also says lifetime means the life of the product, not your lifetime.
What is Belkin’s Connected Equipment Warranty?
It is extra cover on many Belkin chargers and power banks. If a device is damaged by an electrical charge while properly connected to a covered Belkin product, Belkin will repair or replace it up to a set value, $2,500 on the chargers in this guide. You file through Belkin’s claim form and receive a claim number rather than an RMA.
Can I return a Belkin product I bought somewhere else?
Not to Belkin. Its 30-day return policy covers only orders placed on Belkin.com and needs a valid order number and an RMA. Items bought at Apple, Amazon or other stores go back under that retailer’s policy. If a product fails within its warranty period, Belkin may send a new or refurbished replacement instead.
Do Belkin’s Qi2 chargers charge Samsung and Pixel phones at full speed?
Only some of them. Belkin says devices certified for Qi2 25W charge at up to 25 watts, while other Qi2 phones charge at 15 watts. Samsung Galaxy S25 and Z8 series phones need a magnetic case to attach. Several one-star reviews of Belkin’s docks describe Pixel and Samsung phones charging slowly or not at all.
